Exploring the creativity of Cambridge is truly exciting, and when I saw the ‘Paint & Pot’ event, I just had to attend.
The Cambridge Wine Merchants Cherry Hinton Road branch is an independent wine shop and event space that also has a monthly Arts & Crafts Club offering. In the past, they have hosted ‘Paint & Sip’ events where you can paint a wine glass (while having a glass or two)! In recent months though, pottery painting has been the theme.
We entered the winery to see cute lighting and plenty of beverage options to choose from (even alcohol free). We were given one pot each, with free rein to paint whatever we wanted! For the next hour or so, we allowed our imaginations run wild.
It was really fun to chill and chat whilst creating something you can keep forever.
I enjoyed switching off and being creative, and it was also fun to see other peoples designs. We also have the option to buy flowers from a local florist to put into our pots at a small additional cost which was a really nice way to support another local Cambridge business.
For a relaxing evening in Cambridge, it’s the perfect way to unwind.
